School Uniform

The business work ethic at King Solomon means students are expected to dress smartly and take pride in their appearance. School uniform is compulsory at this school and we expect students to wear their uniform with pride. School uniform fosters a sense of community and our uniform policy has been devised in consultation with Directors to be affordable, age appropriate and sensitive to the needs of students' religious requirements. For parents/carers experiencing financial difficulty, financial assistance may be available through our Hardship Fund, so please let the school know if you wish to apply.

Uniform details and description

The colours are purple, gold and black whereas branded items are available from the school uniform supplier. All others are available from high street stores.

Boys wear

• King Solomon purple V-necked sweatshirt with logos
• White polo shirts (Reception, Yr1, Yr2 and Yr3)
• White short sleeved shirt (Yr4 to Yr6)
• Black trousers
• King Solomon Purple and Gold School tie (Yr4 to Yr6)
• Black shoes
• Black/white socks   

Girls wear

• King Solomon purple cardigan with logo
• King Solomon purple check pinafore (Black trousers can only be worn for religious reasons with the prior permission of the Executive Head Teacher)
• King Solomon purple check kilt (Yr4-Yr6)
• Purple Hijab (Muslim students- only with prior permission from the Executive Head Teacher)
• White polo shirt with logo
• In the summer term only – King Solomon purple gingham check dress
• Black shoes
• Black/white socks or tights

PE Kit

• All PE kits to be kept in school and sent home every half term
• Black shorts
• White T-shirt
• Black tracksuit bottoms
• Black plimsolls (non-marking soles)
• All items of jewellery should be removed
• Earrings can be covered with micro pore if necessary

Other

• King Solomon Primary book bags for boys and girls  

 Optional:

• Purple jacket with hood
• King Solomon rucksack
