International School links
As the world is increasingly becoming more globalised, our children and young people are destined to spend their adult lives communicating and working alongside colleagues across the world. King Solomon is preparing our students for this globalised world. Our international business specialism is underpinned by a broad and balanced curriculum with an international focus.
Familiarity with other cultures and modern foreign languages skills are an essential part of preparing our students to work in the increasingly globalized economy and hence the school majors the study of modern foreign languages as an important aspect of our curriculum. French, subject to the availability of excellent specialist teachers, is the main language taught at the school. Additional modern foreign languages may be offered in in subsequent years subject to demand from students and the availability of staff to teach those subjects.
In addition, the school is forging international school partnerships to enable our students to undertake joint projects with students aboard. We will also participate in global social action (learning along the way lessons on altruism especially when we engage with counterpart schools' poverty-stricken regions) and have already and will continue to offer opportunities for our students to be involved in international trips.
